What is JuJu?

JuJu is an energy that is readily available to everyone willing to tap into it.  It's literally the energy of Manifestation. It’s up to you to choose your path.  JuJu is not Hoodoo, Voodoo or Santeria, it is a culmination of these traditions, culture and knowledge practiced with due respect.  JuJu is the acknowledgement of the energy and the choice to exercise one’s free will.  JuJu is doing your research and your spiritual work and finding what resonates with you most.  You are an energetic being and therefore obliged, naturally encouraged and welcome to interact with the energy around you.  You do not have to subscribe to a particular Deity or religion to impress your will and intention upon the Universal energy that is. Regardless of if you ever harvest an herb, consult with the tarot or divination thru Scrying, the energy is absolute and readily awaiting for you to interact.

Many people shy away from their God given rights and gifts due to fear but the truth is, there is nothing to be afraid of, the energy will remain present whether you engage with it or not.

A key to divination, conjure and magic in general is releasing fear, letting go of preconceived notions, especially those related to fear.  Allowing your spirit to lead and guide will help you discern with the spiritual realm as you do the physical. If something doesn’t feel right , end the connection. You are not obligated to interact with anyone or anything!! As many things are double edged tho, be knowledgeable and firm before you go running head first in to a seance, summoning random spirits, and invoking energies you have no connection to or knowledge of. Just as you can put yourself in danger venturing into dark places where you are unsure, unknown or unrepresented in the Earthly realm,  the same is true of the spiritual realm.

There are many sides and angles in Conjure and Manifestation, there is a Universal energy of gratitude to be tapped into, the elements of the Universe (water, air, fire, earth)may be called into play, spiritual allies such as ancestors(especially those that really had your back when they were on the physical realm).  Starting with self care and self love and understanding will start you on an invaluable foundation.  Practice with respect and caution and you will be fine.  Research and read, walk humbly but confidently as you approach, and if you decide to join “ranks,”(entity magic, invocations, necromancy, deity rituals), make sure you learn the “Chain of Command” because just like any other set of secular knowledge, its rules to this shit!
